This past weekend while in San Deigo for the Comic Con we stumbled across an underground bar called C Lounge, and inside the cellar of this dank establishment we found a drum & bass night. In a flashback to 1998 — and gleefully lubricated by their $3 Jack & Cokes — the result was a couple of hours of sweaty anthems and bass-driven debauchery. Boy, I forgot how much fun D&B can be. Then today my friend sent me this new studio mix from D&B legend John B — a two-and-a-half-hour mixtape covering the current state of the scene. What timing!
